Hello, everyone! The countdown is on. We are less than two months away from our beloved fair! I wanted to share some behind-the-scenes updates on the fantastic progress we are making.

1. Business Transparency and Accountability

We are continually refining our Business Plan and Process Manual to ensure that our operations are seamless, effective, and accountable. One of the critical updates this month includes a detailed process on cash handling during the fair. Our aim is to bring a significant level of accountability, a much-needed upgrade, making your experience at the fair secure and enjoyable.

2. Partnerships & Collaborations

Exciting news! We have several new partnerships this year. M45 has joined us as an in-kind sponsor, creating a magnificent 100-foot banner for our new little park behind the grandstand. ABC Supply continues to support us with free lumber supplies. Plus, we are expecting many more partners to join us!

3. Vendors, Galore!

We have some new faces joining our vendor family. Here are a few:

  • Build a Bear
  • Captivate & Shine Treasure
  • Ascension Living Saint Joseph Village
  • Fitness Lifestyle (two spaces)
  • Pink Heifer Saloon (Bringing amazing BBQ from Monticello, WI)
  • And many more!

4. Entertainment

Pages Circus is coming back! After their incredibly successful shows last year, they are more than excited to entertain you all again this year. Plus, get ready for our exciting “Baby Animal of the Fair”, Stevie the Donkey. Stay tuned for videos of Stevie on our social media platforms!

5. Accessibility

To facilitate movement for people with limited mobility, we are in discussions with Christian Carts to provide a shuttle cart service. This service will transport guests from the outer grounds to the center of the fair.

6. Special Events

We had an excellent turnout for our inaugural Roots & Boots Barn Dance, with attendees raving about the facility. In fact, it went so well that people have already started enquiring about renting the facility for their events!

7. Digital Engagement

We are working tirelessly to keep you updated on the latest fair happenings on our Facebook page. We also launched our TikTok account to share entertaining and informative content about the fair. Although a bit out of our comfort zone, we are thrilled to see our first four videos already garnering a combined 1365 views!

8. Other Preparations

All the ribbons, rosettes, banners, and trophies have been ordered and tickets are coming soon. Our daily schedule is in its first rough draft phase and will be released soon!

As we continue to prepare for the fair, we’re meeting with several organizations to coordinate exciting activities. From cross-promotion discussions to organizing donation drives for volunteers, we are diligently working to make this year’s fair one to remember!

Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait to see you all at the fair!
